Yesterday I arrived at the Gold Coast for Problogger. For those who don’t know, Problogger is a blogging conference. And it’s pretty full on. So this post is going to have to be short and sweet!
I’m staying with Hayley Ashman (our lovely editor) and Carly Findlay.
Best: Sleeping in on Thursday! Arriving to sunshine on the Gold Coast. The beds at QT Gold Coast. And this tweet having been saved by Vanessa Smith from last year:

Worst: Getting up at 6:15am today! Oh dear! And Carly and Hayley just bounce around. Hayley described my reaction to her being up and awake without an alarm as “offended”.
This Week’s Pic (top): The view when I woke up. Made getting up early a little more tolerable.
Around the Web:
This week I read a post from Kate Young about being scared to do box jumps and it inspired me to overcome my fear about running… Well, not quite. But I’m getting there.
I also read this post about Harry Potter actually being a story of a boy in a mental institution. Fascinating read and an interesting theory, but perhaps not one I support.
Then there was a leave pass in gifs that made me snort out loud on the train.
On KiKi & Tea:
I kicked off the week writing about . This week’s tip was to get out of bed and grab an oar (I promise it makes sense if you read it). Monique wrote I support of the ALS ice bucket challenge and I wrapped it up writing about being afraid to Just Do It (thanks Nike).
How was your week?
