Café, Pub, Or Restaurant?

What’s your favourite place to eat and/or drink? Café, pub, or restaurant? I have to admit, I’m a café person. (Probably explains why I set The Last Slice in a café, and not a pub or restaurant.) I like the unpretentious food and the casual atmosphere of a café. I tend to go for breakfasts and brunches at cafés. It’s a nice way to start the day. “So what makes salad, salad?” Bren and I pondered this precise question at a cheap little pizzeria near home.
