The Pre-Nup

Reid Blackwell stood on the platform that had been specifically built for the execution of his pre-nuptial agreement. His soon to be ex-wife, Marcella, stood a short distance from him, looking slightly guilty, but not entirely unhappy with the situation. She was standing with her lawyer who was perusing some documentation. His own lawyer stood nervously with Reid, fearful of the sheer-drop at the end of the platform. “Are you sure there’s nothing you can do?” asked Reid. “I’m sorry, mate,” replied his lawyer, “I’ve tried everything.
