The Great Bicycle Paradox

I’m not  a cyclist myself, but I’m a keen people watcher. I love the variety of people you see everyday, and that includes cyclists. There are kids on BMX bikes, grannies on town bikes, pelotons of racing bikes, and hipsters on fixies…so many different bikes and so many different people. I find it fascinating that one group of people are so obsessed with bicycles that they will spend thousand of dollars on state-of-the-art equipment and clothes.  At the other end of the spectrum you have another group of people who are obsessed with cycling minimalism…cheap single speed bikes, or fixies even.
