Hello, bonjour, guten tag, konnichiwa and welcome to Monique’s Celeb Top 5. It’s been a busy week in Hollywood, as is usually the case when there are so many people’s lives happening simultaneously. For those who love celebrity baby photos, I’ve got a few for you this week (and don’t worry, there is only one paparazzi photo!) as well as exciting news about an upcoming musical along with possibly the worst Photoshop job ever! 1. Biggest. Photoshop. Fail. Ever.

We’ve all seen some pretty shocking Photoshop fails with extra limbs, missing limbs, impossible waistlines and the latest trend, stretching. But none of these beat the BIGGEST PHOTOSHOP FAIL EVER on the cover of Italian magazine Amica. And yes, that really did need to be in CAPS to convey just how bad a Photoshop job this was. In case you haven’t heard about this, take a look at the photo to your left and tell me who you think that is on the cover. Let me guess, none of you would have said Eva Longoria unless you already knew? But seriously, the girl on the cover is supposed to be Eva Longoria. If I hadn’t known it was her, there is absolutely no way I would have believed this. Not only is her skin a completely different colour, but they’ve completely changed the structure of her face. Amica has a bad rep for terrible Photoshopping, but this is just the absolute worst case of it that I have ever seen! What makes it even weirder is the fact that Eva Longoria’s website proudly announces the fact that she’s on the cover. I wouldn’t be happy if I were Eva, it doesn’t look like her at all!

2. Nora Ephron dies

You may not recognise her name, but you will be familiar with the movies she wrote. Nora Ephron, the woman responsible for bringing us When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle, died at age 71. According to the writer’s son, Jacob Bernstein, it was pneumonia, brought on by acute myeloid leukaemia, that caused the writer’s death. According to The New York Times “She was a journalist, a blogger, an essayist, a novelist, a playwright, an Oscar-nominated screenwriter and a movie director — a rarity in a film industry whose directorial ranks were and continue to be dominated by men.” She worked with so many high profile stars, who have expressed their sadness at her passing. Upon learning of her passion, Billy Crystal released a statement saying ”I am very sad to learn of Nora’s passing. She was a brilliant writer and humorist. Being her Harry to Meg’s Sally will always have a special place in my heart. I was very lucky to get to say her words.” She will be missed.

3. There will be a Spice Girls musical

Don’t act like you don’t all secretly (or openly) love the Spice Girls. So for the fans out there, I have some super exciting news and that is that there will be a Spice Girls Musical!!! Get excited people!! The Spice Girls briefly “reunited” to announce there will be a musical Viva Forever. Written by comedian Jennifer Saunders and featuring the Spice Girls songs we all know and love, Viva Forever tells the story of a group of friends who enter a televised talent show. It will open in London’s West End on 11 December. The girls, Melaine Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham appeared together to announce the musical amidst claims that there is some animosity between Posh and the rest of the group and who cares when you consider that the musical is set to make them each $7million. I’m super excited and I just need to find a way to get to London to see this!

4. Anne Hathaway’s felon of an ex speaks out

Even though Anne Hathway is now engaged to Adam Shulman, there was a time when she was in a long term relationship with Italian businessman, Raffaello Follieri, until he was convicted of defrauding investors out of millions of dollars. He then became her ex-boyfriend. He’s since served his time and is now out doing interviews where there are lots of questions about his movie star ex. Despite being a convicted criminal, he’s said nothing but wonderful things about Anne. ”I want only the best for this person,” Follieri said in an exclusive interview with ABC News. “She was very sweet to me. We had, I think, a very nice relationship. I don’t have anything bad to say.” After spending five years in US prison, he has been deported back to Italy where he is trying to move on with his life. ”I’m not trying to clear my name. I’m just try to go on and live my life.”

5. Super cute baby pictures

There has been so much adorable baby news in Hollywood this past week, so I thought I’d be awesome and share all the little bits with you. Reese Witherspoon has finally spoken about her third pregnancy after avoiding the topic for months saying “after I finish that, I’m going to take a little time off — and go have a baby!” Molly Sims revealed her son’s name to be Brooks Alan. Victoria’s Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio shared the first picture of her baby boy, Noah. For all you True Blood fans, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are rumoured to be expecting twins after a co-star let the news slide. We got a proper look at Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy’s baby, Bingham. While I denied the rumours, Megan Fox is definitely pregnant, these photos don’t lie. And last but certainly not least, Jessica Simpson tweeted a picture of her beautiful baby girl Maxwell who is eight weeks old (pictured left). So cute.

UPDATE 30th JUNE 10AM

So while I was sleeping last night, it turns out that some pretty serious Hollywood news was going down and I naturally wanted to fill all of you in on what’s going on. For starters

Adele is pregnant!!!

In a post on her official website, Adele announced the happy news: ”I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time,” she said on the website. I’m not quite sure how far along the singer is but I’m very excited for her and hopefully this happy news inspires songs for a new album.

Katie Holmes files for divorce from Tom Cruise

This news legitimately shocked me. I thought they were in it for the long haul, but I must say, I’m extremely glad for Katie and Suri (the couple’s daughter) that they’re getting out of there and that Katie filed for divorce. ”Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy,” Cruise publicist Amanda Lundberg said in a statement. ”This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family,” Holmes’ divorce attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, says in a statement. “Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.” Rumour has it that Katie is seeking sole custody of Suri, but I will, of course, keep you updated on the development of these stories. Here is some info surrounding the terms of their prenup.

I know you’re all just as excited as I am about the upcoming male stripped movie Magic Mike and seeing Channing Tatum lead a flashmob on The Today Show makes me even more excited to see what moves he has for us.
